Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to sort it out.

🗓️ Return Eligibility

We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. You must contact us within this timeframe to request a return.

  • Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
  • Include original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Return must be pre-approved by our team

Returns sent without prior agreement will not be accepted.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

To maintain product safety and hygiene, we do not accept returns on:

  • Custom-made items or special orders
  • Used or fitted parts
  • Awnings, annexe walls, camper trolleys, or caravan covers
  • Items claimed as damaged or incorrect more than 48 hours after delivery
  • Personal care or perishable goods
  • Hazardous materials or flammable items
  • Gift cards or clearance sale items

It is the buyer’s responsibility to read product descriptions, check sizing, and confirm fitment before purchase.

🛠️ Incorrect, Defective or Damaged on Arrival

We take great care in packing orders, but on rare occasions, items may arrive damaged or incorrect.

Important: All transit damage or defect claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

If your item is defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered:

  1. Email contact@caravancorner.com.au within 24 hours of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number, a full description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and original packaging

We cannot process claims submitted after this time period. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check all items upon delivery.

🔄 Change of Mind Returns

We offer exchanges in limited cases. If you’d like to exchange a product, please contact us to check availability. In most cases, we’ll ask you to return the item and place a new order.

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery, by prior approval only:

  • Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging

  • Buyer is responsible for return postage using a trackable method. We do not offer free return shipping. Return postage is at the buyer’s expense unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent incorrectly.

  • Refunds apply to the product price only (original shipping costs are non-refundable)

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply — this will be confirmed during the return approval process

  • Returns must be received within 14 days of approval, or the return will be void

💳 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome:

  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
  • Your bank may take additional time to process the refund

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us.

📩 How to Request a Return

To begin a return, email contact@caravancorner.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • Description of the issue (if applicable)
  • Photos (for damaged/warranty items)

Once authorised, we’ll provide a return address and instructions.

⚖️ Warranty Claims

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Our products are designed for recreational camping use only and are not suitable for permanent residential or commercial use. Like all outdoor gear, correct use and care are essential for long-term performance and durability.

We know warranty claims can be frustrating — our goal is to support you as quickly and clearly as possible. Please review the process below:

  • All claims must be assessed before approval; we do not offer on-the-spot refunds
  • Inspection may be required before a resolution is offered — some items may need to be returned
  • Provide clear, focused photos (multiple angles and distances) and a detailed description of the issue and how it occurred
  • You may be asked to return the item for assessment — return postage may be at your cost
  • If you’ve moved house, please let us know during the claim — we cannot know that your address has changed
  • Warranty items must be returned within a reasonable timeframe — delays may void your claim

  • A full description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the fault or damage
  • Any additional contact details if needed

Note: Warranty claims cannot be processed over the phone. Claims must be lodged in writing for assessment.
